Melissa Barwig-Owner & Licensed Massage Therapist
Melissa graduated from The Oregon School of Massage in 2009 where she specialized in Western Massage therapy.
She was employed in a chiropractic office post graduation where she assisted clients suffering from a variety of injuries.
She has since worked in a variety of spa settings keeping current on spa treatments such as Hot Stone Therapy, Scrubs, Body Wraps and other Spa therapies. She was certified in Ashiatsu The Original Deepfeet Bar Therapy in 2011.
Melissa’s newest accomplishment has been receiving the award of Best of the Mid-Valley in 2013, opening Tranquil Moments and hiring professional and gifted massage therapist. She continues to offer quality customer service and enjoys developing new ways to enhance the massage experience.
Melissa seeks to provide her clients with the ultimate spa experience and excellence in bodywork by taking the whole person into account and customizing the spa experience. With her knowledge in both healing therapy and relaxation
techniques, she is able to accommodate a variety of clients.

Tanya Luckman-Licensed Massage Therapist
Tanya brings over 20 years of experience in which she has mastered a variety of modalities from therapeutic to relaxation and almost everything in between!

Mallory Edwards-Licensed Massage Therapist
Graduating from the Texas Center for Massage Therapy, Mallory brings with her a background in sports massage, clinical healing and therapeutic relaxation. She specializes in deep tissue, cranial sacral and trigger point.
Coming from a spa setting, she perfectly balances deep tissue therapeutic techniques and with delicate precision to accommodate each personalized session. Mallory's focus has always been to lend a hand and serve her community, and in that she's excited to show off her skills here at Tranquil Moments.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her fiance and their two dogs as well as tabletop gaming and "running the nerd herd".

Riley Mitchell-Licensed Massage Therapist
Riley loves being a massage therapist because she is able to connect with people in a therapeutic way. It makes her smile when she has a client walk out a couple inches taller.

Miranda McKay-Office Manager
Miranda is our office manager. She's been working with us since 2016 and has enjoyed the ebbs and flows of the front desk. She likes to help our clients in person and over the phone while also creating a fun and relaxing workplace for our massage therapists.
In addition to working at Tranquil Moments, she's going to school to get her masters degree in early childhood education.
When she's not working or studying, she's most likely shopping with her mom, at a park with her son or walking on the beach with her husband.
Tonnie has been a massage therapist for 30 in Idaho and Alaska. She maintained a private practice with focus on relaxation for the body and mind using Swedish techniques as well as Craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, abdominal and pregnancy massage recently adding hot stone massage and Shiatsu. She likes working with people in all stages of life from birth to elderly.
She is currently attending Oregon School of Massage for continuing education to update her training to obtain her Oregon license.
Outside of work she enjoys walking, traveling, reading and gardening, and learning about life.
Hannah is currently a student at Oregon School of Massage. She will be graduating with a certificate and licensing in December 2019. After graduating from OSM, she plans to focus her work on Deep Therapeutic Pressure, MFR, Trigger Point Therapy, Cancer Patience, and Thai Massage. Hannah also looks forward to offering Ashiatsu later in her practice.
When Hannah is not at Tranquil Moments or in classes, she is care giving kids with developmental disabilities as another full time job. She looks forward to enrolling in college in the Winter of 2020 to major in Social Work and minor in Writing. Hannah looks forward to incorporating all of her education and experiences into a way of helping others.
